A Little About Me
I’m Alyssa, the astrologer, artist, intuitive, and human behind Astromadeus.
My relationship with astrology has never been about memorizing definitions or predicting a predetermined future.
It’s about our story.
It’s about noticing the patterns that keep showing up.
Understanding ourselves with a little more compassion.
Finding meaning in the messy parts.
And realizing that we are so much more than the stories we inherited.
My own chart is a pretty perfect reflection of this.
With Scorpio Sun, Mercury, and Pluto in the 12th house, I’ve always been drawn toward what exists beneath the surface, the subconscious, the unseen, the things we feel before we have words for them. I’m fascinated by transformation and the process of bringing what has been hidden into awareness.
My Sagittarius Rising brings the other side of that equation: curiosity, humor, hope, movement, and the belief that there is always more to discover. I want astrology to feel expansive, not limiting.
And my Capricorn Moon in the 2nd house, conjunct Uranus, reminds me that self-discovery ultimately has to become real life. Our inner work matters because it changes how we build, choose, create, love, work, and move through the world.
That’s the astrology I’m interested in.
Not astrology that tells you who you are.
Astrology that helps you understand why you are.
And perhaps most importantly, what you want to do with that knowing.

I’ve been curious about the stars for as long as I can remember.
Long before I had language for astrology, I was fascinated by the bigger questions: Why are we here? What makes us who we are? And what are we meant to do with this strange, beautiful life?
Finding astrology gave those questions a language.
Over time, it became more than something I studied. It became a way of understanding myself, making sense of my experiences, connecting with other people, and finding meaning in the patterns of life.
I became a certified astrologer in 2021 and founded Astromadeus soon after. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of sitting with people from all walks of life and exploring the stories written into their charts.
My work is informed by astrology, intuition, Reiki, yoga, and years of exploring different spiritual and healing traditions but at the heart of it, I’m simply someone who loves people, patterns, stories, and the stars.
I live in Colorado with my husband, Patrick, and our three sons, where life tends to include mountain adventures, creativity, big conversations, and plenty of looking up at the night sky.
Astromadeus is my way of bringing all of that together.
